100% Organic Cotton, as the name suggests, produce all their garments with 100% organic cotton material. 100% Organic Cotton offers a broad variety of garments, ranging from basics to fashionable pieces for both men and women. Since partnering with MADE-BY in 2006, they have been committed to producing all their products in Class A factories. 

Social Conditions in Factories
In 2011, 100% Organic Cotton continued to produce their complete collection in India with suppliers that are SA8000 certified. This results in a 100% Class A score in their Social Scorecard. Furthermore, all the styles of 100% Organic Cotton were traceable online through MADE-BY’s ‘Track&Trace’ system, allowing the consumer to see the full chain involved in producing a 100% Organic Cotton garment.

Environmental Impact of Raw Materials

All garments in 100% Organic Cotton’s collection are made from organic cotton, resulting in a high score in Class B fibres. For a number of styles a small percentage of elastane was used to add stretch to the product. This is visible in the low percentage of Unclassified materials.

100% Organic Cotton provided GOTS certification on garment level for all styles, guaranteeing that the cotton, as well as all the inputs used in further production processes, are organic. Part of the organic cotton that is used in 2011 is also Fair Trade certified, ensuring small-scale farmers received a fair price for their cotton.
