The most visible way in which MADE-BY partner brands can communicate their commitment to sustainability and to working with MADE-BY is to display the Blue Button and MADE-BY Swing Tag.

The Blue Button can be used by our partner brands and be sewn into their garments once they have committed to an action plan and have sustainable items within the collection.

As we are not a product based initiative, the Blue Button and MADE-BY Swing Tag does not imply that a particular garment is sustainable, but rather that the brand is working towards step-by-step sustainable improvements throughout the entire collection. The Blue Button and MADE-BY Swing Tag demonstrates that the brand is working with MADE-BY to make year upon year progress towards producing their collection with respect for people and the planet.

Partner brands are supplied with clear guidelines for the use of the Blue Button and Swing Tag. MADE-BY has developed artwork for the Swing Tag that brands can use as a shadow label to accompany their own existing tags and labels.  Alternatively the brand can submit bespoke artwork for MADE-BY’s approval.

There is also a specific Track&Trace swing tag which can only be used on traceable items.
