At the end of each calendar year, the progress that the brands are making in the areas of environment and labour are translated into Scorecards. These Scorecards cover a period of one year, from the 1st of January until the 31st of December. Only the scorecards of brands  that were a partner of MADE-BY during that entire period are published. For Haikure the first Scorecards will cover the year 2011 and will be published in 2012.

Haikure is a brand new collection of CS jeans. CS jeans is a leading producer of denim clothing for men, women and children located in Perugia, Italy. MADE-BY is a key partner of this launch of sustainable denim and stortswear collections, supporting the brand in choosing organic cotton fabrics, certified Tencel by Lenzing etc. When becoming a MADE-BY member in fall 2010 the first important step was to start mapping the supply chains, ensuring a transparent and gapless documentation. Haikure’s dedication to producing only in Europe, mainly in Italy and a small percentage in Portugal, shows also their clear strategy to look at social conditions in their factories responsibly.
