Chasin’, a lifestyle jeans brand for men, was founded in 1992 and is available in almost 120 stores in the Benelux and Germany, websites and concessions. The cool non conformist collection is designed for curious no-nonsense individuals who want to live life to the fullest. Chasin’ mainly focus on jeans, but the collection also contains t-shirts, outerwear, shirts, underwear, accessories and more. The DNA of the brand, which reflects their lust for life and aims for social compliance and sustainability throughout their collections without profiling themselves as a ‘sustainable’ brand, eventually led them to a partnership with MADE-BY. Chasin’ has always worked with relations and suppliers from a sustainable point of view, focussing on quality throughout the supply chain, a spokesperson from Chasin’ explains: "We don’t believe in short term goals, not when it comes to our relations or our collection. To make sure our ambition is actually realised it’s important to monitor and invest in knowledge, which makes joining MADE-BY at this point such a logical step for us." |
Chasin’ has already put a lot of effort into their sustainable strategy by mapping the social compliance of their suppliers. Together with MADE-BY, areas of improvement will be identified, with a focus on the long term progress along the supply chain. Four years ago Chasin’ came into contact with MADE-BY, and since then both parties have been gradually working towards collaboration. Jeroen Wiese, Chasin’s Buying and Styling Manager explains: "ten years ago I wouldn’t have thought I’d be so involved with CR these last 4 years. MADE-BY has inspired me and forced a turning point. With MADE-BY we just clicked, and since our first meeting it became more and more apparent we’d become a partner brand eventually." |
