Imps&Elfs originated in 1997 as ‘a modest children’s label without frills and fancies, which concentrates on the shape of the child’. Fons Cohen is the owner and founder, and Jacqueline Streng the designer. These days social responsibility is a demand of consumers, also – and maybe even more - towards children brands. Young parents are highly aware and critical. They are very engaged with the world in which their child has to grow up and demand this world is handled with care. Sure enough we notice that our customers react positively to our efforts to produce with respect for the world their kids grow up in. The collection is divided into a new-born and a toddlers’ line, which are on sale at about a hundred and fifty Dutch outlets. But also abroad the interest in Imps&Elfs is growing, a.o. in the USA, Belgium, France and Italy. |
The head office and design studio are established in a former church in South Amsterdam with the Imps&Elfs store just around the corner. | ![]() MADE-BY © IMPS&ELFS |
