The exclusive design label Rianne de Witte distinguishes itself from others with its wearable designer clothing that has its own distinctive, exclusive characteristics. Rianne de Witte’s women’s clothing and accessories stand out thanks to their natural lines, surprising eye for detail, and outstanding materials. De Witte’s speciality is the design of coats. Her collection is intended for women of all ages that want to wear honest and durable clothes with an identity. Together with MADE-BY, Rianne de Witte has increased the percentage of the organic cotton used in its collection and has started using PLA (polylactic acid), a recyclable and biodegradable polyester derived from renewable resources. “My link with MADE-BY was an obvious choice,” says de Witte. “I have spent many years experimenting with natural and sustainable materials such as hemp, ramie, linen, wool, as well as special high-tech fabrics. The design alone is not enough for me; creating a beautiful and exclusive garment always goes hand in hand with craftsmanship and the right materials. |
“So what makes a Rianne de Witte garment exceptional? The answer is refined simplicity in combination with sustainability. And every collection corresponds to the previous one in terms of colour and the use of materials. As a result, our customers can continue to supplement their wardrobes and a garment can be worn for longer than just one season.” The Rianne de Witte collection is on sale in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, the UK, Australia, Slovakia and Kuwait, and since 2007, in Rianne de Witte’s own showroom in Breda, in the Netherlands. De Witte has also designed a collection for the Cora Kemperman label and in the Netherlands is known for her work with the Dutch celebrity Wendy van Dijk, which resulted in a successful limited collection for the Dutch department store V&D. She has also designed for Brennels, a Dutch company that has developed a collection made from eco-friendly cotton and stinging nettles. Nettle fibre can be 30 to 50% lighter than cotton fibre and stronger. |
