Falcon is a sportswear and fashion brand that specialises in functional weather performance gear. At the end of 2009, Falcon became part of the MADE-BY network with the ambition to improve the level of sustainability throughout its collection.

Social Conditions in Factories
Falcon currently produce a small part of their collection with a Class A supplier. The focus for 2011 will be to restart work with two suppliers in China and one in Vietnam to improve the social conditions at their sewing factories.

*Please note that Falcon’s social scorecard has been amended further to new data from 2010 becoming available after the date of publication and printing of the annual report. It therefore reads differently to the scorecard in the printed and online annual report. This is due to a product group produced in a low risk country which was mistakenly left out of the production data by the brand.

Environmental Impact of Raw Materials
The Falcon team was trained and a start made on an action plan to introduce sustainable materials into their collections. This action plan will be further developed and implementation is planned to start in 2011.
