Snoozebaby was launched in 2005 and became a MADE-BY partner in 2008. The innovative mid-to-high-end baby textile accessories brand produces functional and playful baby products, such as blankets and toys, offering comfort and joy. All products come with the Snoozebaby labels in different fabrics, colours and designs, aimed to stimulate the baby’s curiosity and sensory development.
Social Conditions in Factories
The majority of Snoozebaby’s 2012 collection was produced in China and in 2012 Snoozebaby began working with a new supplier in Morocco. Unfortunately their suppliers were not able to provide documentation that meets the requirements of MADE-BY’s verification policy. This has resulted in a 100% Unclassified score.
Environmental Impact of Raw Materials
In 2012, the main materials used by Snoozebaby were cotton and polyester. Of all the cotton used in the 2012 collection 17% was organic cotton. This organic cotton accounts for 9% of all the materials used in the entire collection. This is visible as the Class B fibres in the Environmental Scorecard. Besides polyester (Class D) and conventional cotton (Class E), a small amount of reed (Unclassified) was used in producing baby baskets.
