'I love this business – it’s dynamic and innovative nature, it’s diversity and entrepreneurial spirit - that’s why I’m in it.  Having worked within Apparel manufacturing and for major brands, covering performance sportswear through to high street fashion and runway collection, I’ve always had a passion for product ... but also for people and for processes.  I’m curious by nature and so am driven by the potential for development and continuous improvement in all those areas.  That’s what inspired me to work with MADE-BY.

Having managed sustainable product design, development and sourcing, led initiatives to reduce waste within internal business practices and participated in community projects, it made sense for me to take it a step further and focus within the field of Corporate Responsibility. 

As the primary contact for brands which MADE-BY works with, I, in partnership with the brand, am responsible for creating and implementing an appropriate sustainability program from strategy through to end product.  I also serve as the link between MADE-BY and our partner organisation, Solidaridad, who co-ordinate local improvement projects in the supply chains.  It’s amazing to experience the “sustainability journey” with the brands MADE-BY partner with, to see the multitude of opportunities and possibilities available within the industry for them to make a real difference.
