Driven by our commitment to sustainable fashion, MADE-BY works with fashion brands and retailers to design and implement sustainability programmes that fit and create value for their businesses and improve social and environmental conditions across their supply chains.
The Role: MADE-BY is looking to recruit a new Environmental Supply Chain Consultant to join our team in London. The consultant would be responsible for: • Creating and implementing a fitting environmental sustainability programme for the fashion brands that MADE-BY supports • Recognising and pinpointing the sustainability needs of fashion companies and structuring a support program that can help brands reach their environmental sustainability goals • Developing tools and expertise that can be used by fashion companies to help improve their environmental performance throughout their collections and supply chains • Taking an active role in the development of MADE-BY

Tasks: • Consulting fashion brands on the development and implementation of environmental sustainability strategies, including sustainable products, sourcing and cleaner production • Analysing the product set-up and supply chain of brands in order to establish possibilities for sustainability improvements and translating this analysis into an action plan for implementation • Developing and conducting trainings and workshops • Developing MADE-BY tools and service products • Building and maintaining an expertise base on environmentally responsible textile development, processing and manufacturing and the market developments in this area • Business development activities, networking and ambassadorship • This position will be based in our London office but significant travel between our European offices and clients is essential
Profile: • Minimum 6 years relevant work experience • Proven understanding of the fashion or textile industry • In-depth and technical knowledge of environmental product, production and processing issues relevant to the fashion and/or textile industry • Excellent analytical skills and business understanding • Very good interpersonal and intercultural skills • Able to create trusting relationships built on mutual respect • Able to work independently as well as in teams and create structure and clarity in all situations • Pragmatic, determined, mature and results oriented, driven and inquisitive • Consulting skills are essential, consulting experience is an advantage • MSc in environmental sciences, textile engineering or related • Fluency in English
